WHY THIS COLLECTOR?

With the constant evolution of turbochargers and the increasing power of TDI engines, the original intake has become the bottleneck of your preparation. A stock 580 cm3 plenum simply cannot keep up when you push your turbo to 3 bar and more.

After 8 months of R&D, we designed the most massive intake manifold on the market for the 1.9 TDI — a 1,590 cm³ plenum and oversized runners, entirely CNC machined from 6061 aluminum.

On the large turbos in the MFP range (from the MFP TURBO GTB2872BB), a stock intake manifold becomes a structural limitation. The 1590cc is no longer an option — it's the technical requirement to unlock the true potential of your setup.

3 — YOUR ENGINE IS ENGAGED

• Optimized cylinder filling At high RPMs — above 3,500 RPM, your stock intake system becomes the bottleneck. The 1590cc engine shifts this limit.
• Separate intake pulses between cylinders — less interference, more homogeneous load cylinder to cylinder
• Extended torque plate — your engine maintains its torque higher in the rev range
• lower EGT At equivalent load — the additional air dilutes and cools the combustion
• Pedal feel — more direct engagement, freer acceleration, engine that pulls higher without running out of breath

TRACK TESTED AT OVER 5 BAR

This manifold didn't leave a workshop without validation. It was tested on MFP-prepared vehicles. in track conditions at over 5 bar of turbo pressure. This is the pressure at which a stock manifold becomes a total bottleneck — it is also the pressure at which the 1590cc demonstrates its full value.

FAQ

Q — Compatible with my stock 1.9 TDI 105?
Yes, mechanically, but on a stock engine (original turbo ≤ 2 bar), the gain is marginal — the stock intake system isn't yet the bottleneck. This manifold only becomes truly useful with a Stage 2 upgrade (hybrid turbo or big single).

Q — Is a specific mapping required?
To fully utilize the increased fuel flow, a mapping that reads the MAP sensor and adjusts the fuel parameters accordingly is recommended. Otherwise, the engine will adapt but won't deliver its maximum performance.

Q — Compatible with NOS/Methanol injection?
Yes — 4 1/8 NPT ports are already integrated on the plenum, one per cylinder. No drilling required.

Q — How long does installation take?
Plug & Play on the original base. Allow 2 to 4 hours for a clean installation depending on your experience and the accessibility of your engine compartment.

Q — Warranty?
2-year manufacturer's warranty on the part.
