The pneumatic boost-based StraightGate50 resumes the multi-award-winning eSG50 and simplifies control via a traditional boost-based actuator. The self-balancing nature of the StraightGate50 means that a huge adjustment window of over 5 times the base spring pressure can be achieved! Pre-equipped with 6 psi springs for the GenV actuator with single and dual control, the StraightGate50 is simple to use, and packed with performance, flow and features!

The StraightGate50 from Turbosmart has been designed from the ground up and validated internally to create a new level of control and throughput, never seen in a wastegate before. The zero offset butterfly valve is subjected to exhaust pressure equally on both halves of the valve, which pivots centrally, providing a self-balancing valve against any driving pressure. This self-balancing means that less work is required to act against the highest drive pressures and a wider adjustment window is possible, regardless of how the valve is actuated. The increased flow rate is achieved through the efficiency of a straight-through valve compared to a reed valve where the exhaust gas must be turned 90 degrees by the valve.
