The smart solution for EXTREME TDI engines, When a cast (OEM) piston reaches its limits, the forged piston takes over — resulting in superior resistance to high cylinder pressures, EGT and EMP, with reliability that inspires confidence on the road, track and drag.
Why use FORGED PISTONS?
- Volumetric ratio 18:1 → better tolerance to pressures/EGT/EMP.
- Valve recesses Ø39 mm, depth 2 mm → Ideal for oversize valves and high lift camshafts.
- Weight 457 g (–103 g vs. OEM 560 g) → reduced inertia, faster acceleration.
- 4032 Alloy (rich in silicon) → increased strength, less PTW play, quieter motor, excellent wear resistance.
- PLUG AND PLAY→ Piston diameter 79.45mm, does not require cylinder reboring.
Design &manufacturing
- High-pressure forging then Multi-axis CNCtight tolerances.
- Reinforcements in critical areas: segment grooves, crown, axle bosses.
- High-strength floating axle, secure circlips.
- Balancing by play to limit vibrations.

Installation/Tuning
- Assembly by an engine specialist is recommended (piston/cylinder clearance, honing, and appropriate end gaps).
- Methodical break-in + oil check.
- Map adjustments SELF/Duration/Boost to take advantage of the RV 18:1.
